Pass a chapelle where St Maurice was martyred. Cross fields and corn plantations. Many of the walkways are forested today and eventually warmth is restored as the sun returns.

Many changes and readjusting of footwear. There's a menacing big blister on little toe and a burning blister underfoot.

A long forest walk to Martigny where there is a buzz in anticipation of First of August celebrations.

Fondent wine and French fries in a plaza before meeting Soeur Tante Lisbet for dinner at the convent.
